A project designed and directed by Gian Maria Tosatti , a young artist who heads the cultural magazine LaDIfferenza and has already taken part in the team 's Angelo Mai.

Reload is a challenge, or rather a new answer to the crisis in the arts market and their hinterland (museums, academies, schools, galleries), the crisis slowed the city in its urban transformation processes and lack of space, non-profit of the capital. The idea is simple: for two months of 3000 square meters former auto shop will be filled "charging" an unused space before and making it free and open to artists' collective and Roman galleries. The occupation is only temporary and the terms were agreed with the owner. In Rome, as in many other European cities like spaces that happens (which have greater potential because in a state of advanced decay) remains unused. The reason is simple: they are often real estate company involved in real estate and awaiting a new business plan to begin renovations or new institutions awaiting new funds or private owners who expect to rent (and the latter the case of former factories, which are practically new ...). For each of these eventualities Reload is a possible solution.

• Share
: the main hall of the building will be managed rotation of four major non-profit contemporary art in the city on the model of North-European large spaces available to different groups of curators and artists who will co-operate. Every two weeks will be an exhibition created by a different group of: 26cc, duct C, 1:1 projects, Opera Rebis .
• Tunnel: a tunnel 50 meters long and 5 wide is made available to eight receivers that will develop shows for a week each. In addition, the rapid pace of the proposal aims to create an indirect relationship and dialogue among the main critics of the last generation Angel Moya Garcia , Cecilia Casorati Cecilia Canziani and , Emilia Giorgi, Ilaria Gianni, Alessandro Acting , Micol Di Veroli , Gianluca Brogna, Peter Gaglianò .
• Perform: the different areas of the entire structure will be open to a program of performance "frontier" created by artists from the visual arts and performing arts, two worlds observe each other very little. • Windows: it is a cycle of two round tables "techniques", but open to the public, linked to their topics of Reload that will be engaged all stakeholders in the system of culture, institutions, directors of public museums, collectors, to the independent reality. The first meeting will focus on the situation of non-profit spaces in Italy, the second temporary use of space.
